Program Goal
1. To Prevent youth from being placed or removed out of the home because of mental, emotional and or behavioral challenges.
2. Assist youth returning home from and out of home placement.
Admission Criteria
1.One parent/guardian is willing to participate in services
2.The individual is at risk, or being transitioned from, an out-of-home placement due to mental health disorder diagnosis.
3.The individual has significant relationship / behavioral / cognitive difficulties.
Mentoring Program
To assist individuals in developing healthy coping skills, social skills, and linkage with natural support .
Mental Health Education
Changing Faces offers various seminars dedicated to teaching individuals the fundamental components of mental health. Through one on one training and group sessions we are able to provide participants with knowledge to recognize mental health symptoms and to also learn when help is necessary.
